Course Description:Reviewing best practices for endodontic cases: case selection and techniques for the general dentist.
Speaker Bio: Dr. Davenport was born and raised in the South suburbs of Chicago. He decided very early on to pursue a career in dentistry, but still cultivated his passion for the saxophone, attending Augustana College on a music scholarship with a major in Biology and minor in Biochemistry. After graduating Summa Cum Laude, Dr. Davenport attended the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. While at Harvard, Dr. Davenport conducted research on the impact of autoimmune diseases, such as lupus and multiple sclerosis, on oral health. Dr. Davenport completed a residency in Endodontics at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) and, after several years of private practice, founded Advanced Endodontics of Chicago in 2010. He previously served as an Associate Clinical Professor in UIC’s Department of Endodontics. Outside of the office, Dr. Davenport is an avid golfer and traveler. He lives with his wife and four children in the Western suburbs of Chicago.
