Program Description:
The dental patient has been replaced by a dental consumer looking for proven, predictable solutions. Tooth loss and replacement pose both physical and emotional effects on patients. Understanding indications for treatment and how to properly maintain long-lasting implant results are critical in delivering predictable outcomes. Collaboration among the entire dental team strengthens the knowledge of case selection, case acceptance, and patient satisfaction. Understanding the complexity of implant maintenance is a highlight of this program. This session will identify the true impact of the interdisciplinary relationship between the dental hygienist, dental assistant, restorative dentist and specialist when it comes to implant maintenance.
