Max Emmerling DDS, MD, will present Evaluation and Management of Odontogenic Infections. Cocktails/networking will begin at 6 p.m. followed by dinner and the program at 7 p.m.
Speaker Bio:
Dr. Max Emmerling was born and raised in the Baltimore area and completed all of his education and training in the state of Maryland. He received a Bachelors of Science in Neurobiology and Physiology from the University of Maryland. He received his Medical degree from University of Maryland School of Medicine and his Dental Degree from University of Maryland School of Dentistry. He went on to do this Oral & Maxillofacial training at the University of Maryland Medical Center and world famous R Adams Cowley Schock Trauma Center, one the busiest and high acclaimed trauma centers in the country.
Dr. Emmerling’s primary clinical interests include: orthognathic surgery, maxillofacial trauma, and TMJ surgery. He is involved in research in areas of maxillofacial trauma, dentofacial deformities, benign maxillofacial pathology, and temporomandibular joint disorders and has been published in various articles and book chapters on these topics. We are blessed to have him in the Chicago land area working at Cook County Stroger Hospital where he is a full time attending and training our future residents in the field, including myself.
Today he will be presenting a lecture on the Evaluation and Management of Odontogenic Infections.

- Apply anatomical principles to the evaluation of odontogenic infections.
- Utilize basic surgical principles in the treatment of odontogenic infections.
