Ryan Vaughn, MD, will present ENT and Dentistry: Two Fields Ripe for Collaboration. Cocktails begin at 6 p.m. followed by dinner at 7 p.m. and the program at 8 p.m.
Speaker Bio:
Ryan Vaughn, MD, is a highly trained and well-respected otolaryngologist at Exhale Sinus, TMJ, Headache & Sleep in Schaumburg, Illinois. With a specialization in ear, nose, and throat (ENT) conditions and a board certification from the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, Dr. Vaughn brings a wealth of expertise to his practice. Dr. Vaughn’s journey in medicine began with the attainment of his medical degree in 2007 from the University of Colorado School of Medicine in Aurora, Colorado, where he distinguished himself by graduating in the top 3% of his class. His excellence was further recognized with an induction into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Subsequently, he pursued advanced training by completing a residency in otolaryngology and head and neck surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he honed his skills working alongside esteemed medical teams in various healthcare institutions in Chicago including the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center, Mercy Hospital & Medical Center, University of Illinois Hospital and Health Sciences System, Children’s Memorial Hospital (now Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago), and John H. Stroger Hospital of Cook County. Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Vaughn is deeply committed to nurturing the next generation of medical professionals. He actively engages in programs and initiatives aimed at advancing the education and skills of aspiring surgeons and physicians. This dedication underscores his passion for fostering excellence in healthcare beyond his immediate patient care responsibilities. Despite his demanding professional commitments, Dr. Vaughn cherishes his time outside the hospital walls. He finds joy in the company of his wife, young daughter, and their beloved family dog, Oscar, a delightful sheepadoodle. This balance between professional dedication and personal fulfillment enriches Dr. Vaughn’s life both within and outside the medical field.
