Meet Your 2026-2027 Northwest Suburban Branch President

Dr. Colleen Shandley is honored to serve as President of the Northwest Suburban Branch of the Chicago Dental Society. As a dedicated general dentist, Dr. Shandley is passionate about fostering professional connection, continuing education, and collaboration within the dental community while supporting the highest standards of patient care.
Dr. Shandley earned her dental degree from Marquette University School of Dentistry and completed her General Practice Residency at Illinois Masonic Medical Center. She later joined her family’s dental practice with her parents Dr. Steven Shandley and Dr. Elizabeth Kane, where she continues the tradition of providing compassionate, patient-centered care alongside her parents.

Dr. Shandley's service to the Northwest Suburban Branch has been emphasized through the multiple leadership positions she's held, including Dinner chair, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, President Elect, and President. Participation in Mission trips to Jamaica and Mexico (El Nino Rey) give her the opportunity to give back through our profession.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Shandley enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband, daughter, and two dogs, who are all eagerly anticipating the arrival of a second child in July. In her free time, she loves being outdoors and can often be found hiking, running, fly fishing, or gardening.
