Meet Your 2026-2027 Northwest Suburban Branch President

Dr. Colleen Shandley is a graduate of Marquette University School of Dentistry, where she earned her DDS degree cum laude in 2018 after completing her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences through Marquette’s accelerated Pre-Dental Scholars program.

Committed to both clinical excellence and service, Dr. Shandley participated in dental mission trips to Jamaica during dental school and volunteered through Illinois and Wisconsin Mission of Mercy events to provide care to underserved communities.

Following dental school, she completed a hospital-based General Practice Residency at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago in 2019. She has continued her advanced education through programs with the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the Pankey Institute, and Progressive Orthodontic Seminars, with additional training in implant dentistry, complex restorative care, and clear aligner treatment.

Dr. Shandley joined Shandley Kane Dental in 2019 after years of working in the practice as a dental assistant alongside her family. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Shandley enjoys running, snowboarding, hiking, cooking, and spending time with her husband, Tim, and their dog, Winnifred.
