Executive Committee
Committee Purpose
To foster a harmonious and effective working relationship at the executive level of Society affairs, the committee and administrative staff will effectively implement the policies and achieve the goals set forth by the Board of Directors.

Structure and Composition
The Executive Committee consists of the elected Officers of the Society and three (3) senior Directors of the Board. The actions of the Executive Committee require the approval of the Board of Directors and shall not supersede the responsibilities and authority of each Officer and Director as outlined in the Constitution and Bylaws of the Society. An Executive Committee meeting will be scheduled as determined by the President or upon written request of any three members of the Executive Committee. The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is an invited guest and non-voting member of the Executive Committee.

Committee Goals
- To conduct, implement, and manage the Society’s regular business according to the policy structures and guidelines established by the Board of Directors.
- To maintain quality ancillary agencies and advise the Board on the roles and benefits of professional consultants.
- To advise and communicate with the CEO, who reports to and is accountable to the Board of Directors through the Society’s President.
- To report to the Board on the actions taken by the Executive Committee and to provide an update on the content of the Executive Committee’s meetings, especially when key topics are discussed or considered.
- To provide counsel to the Board on Strategic planning concerns, including establishing vision, goals, and objectives for the Society.
Meeting:
An Executive Committee meeting will be scheduled at least one week before an official Board Meeting and will be conducted virtually. It may also be arranged at the discretion of the President or upon written or electronic request from any three members of the Executive Committee.
