Chicago Special Olympics events were highlighted by the Chicago Park District Spring Games and the Special Smiles health initiative.
On May 7, athletes from local schools and Chicago Park District programming gathered for a day of competition and care, with Northwest Suburban Branch members on hand to provide free dental screenings and oral health education through the Special Smiles program.
