Get the Midwinter Meeting Mobile App
The CDS Midwinter Meeting Mobile App is new for the 2019 event with added and exciting new features that will make attending the meeting, visiting the Exhibit Hall, connecting with friends and obtaining CE credits easy and enjoyable.
First, because the app is totally new with more robust features that will allow for an even better mobile experience, the user needs to download the new app. That means any previous users need to delete the old app on their device and download a new version instead of updating last year’s app.
The app is compatible with Android and iOS smartphones and tablets running operating systems iOS 10 and above, or Android 5 and higher. Windows devices are not supported. The app is available to download on the Apple Store or on Google Play.
“When attendees download the new app, they will enhance their Midwinter Meeting experience by being able to efficiently navigate the large exhibit floor with a 3-D map, quickly find course rooms and course schedules, easily obtain their CE credits, and network with other attendees,” said CDS Director of Communications Rachel Schafer.
The app also allows participants to view PDF handouts from speakers, and take notes that you can email directly to yourself.
Navigating the 170,000 square feet of exhibit space will be a breeze using a new 3-D adaptive map that allows you to plot your route. The user can also access the Virtual Tradeshow Bag. One of the new features includes the ability to stay connected with fellow Midwinter Meeting participants through an Activity Steam, which allows attendees to engage in dialogue and share information and photos. You can also connect to all your favorite social media channels from within the app and view all your favorites in one place.
And lastly, by signing into the app with your current badge number, you’ve also signed into CE verification as well. This streamlines the process to easily obtain your CE credits all within the app. This feature will be available on site.
“CDS has worked hard to bring one of the best dental meeting apps to its attendees,” said Ms. Schafer.
