Get a jump on exhibit floor visit
With the start of the new year and the easing of the holiday rush, now is the perfect time to look around and really size up your office – what is old, worn out or in need of replacement. From your instruments to your couch cushions, take a hard look around your office through the eyes of a practical clinician as well as those of a patient.
Just as things start to break down or look a little shabby at home due to age, so will your office. Duct tape may hold down the fraying basement carpet at home, but that doesn’t work aesthetically at your practice. The timing couldn’t be better to categorize your needs because the 2020 Midwinter Meeting Exhibit Hall will have loads of items and ideas for your consideration. Having it all under one roof makes it so easy to look over, compare and make some purchases that can spruce up your office in no time.
It couldn’t be easier to plan your visit either. Find your way onto the virtual exhibit floor (available mid-January on the app too). You will find more than 650 exhibitors as well as a quick look at show specials and new products and services they’re highlighting, links to exhibitor websites and booth locations.
After a look through, you can use the app to map out your exhibit floor visit in 3-D, making sure that you can easily find and visit all your designated vendors on the floor. You can also select exhibitors to add to your “favorites” list. The app also gives access to the Virtual Tradeshow Bag with offers from exhibitors and local businesses.
The 170,000-square-foot Exhibit Hall is one of the highlights of the Midwinter Meeting, where you have the chance to try out the latest in dental technology and products. The hall opens at 9 a.m. each day of the meeting and is open until 5:30 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, Feb. 20 – 21, and until 4 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 22. Scanning the QR code on your name badge at designated locations in the hall will activate the exhibit floor CE. CDS offers 1 CE credit each day of the meeting when you visit the Exhibit Hall.
And new this year is the Corporate Learning Theater. More than 10 exhibitors will have an hour to go in-depth about their products in the open-air, open-seating theater, which will be in Aisle 600 near the Rebate Redemption Center. If you’re looking to spend more time learning about a product, this is the spot. A schedule of exhibitors at the learning theater is available here. Take advantage of the Corporate Learning Theater to learn more and talk to company representatives about dental instruments, new technology and more for your practice.
