Phishing Scam targets the Chicago Dental Society

Today we were made aware that the name Chicago Dental Society and our corporate logo are being used without our permission by an unidentified source on a FUNDLY email solicitation. The subject line of the solicitation email reads "Help Support Mercy." The Chicago Dental Society does NOT utilize info1@cds.org or donation@cds.org

This activity is clearly fraudulent and is a phishing email disguised as a CDS initiative. You are strongly encouraged to disregard and delete the email, and to not contribute or click on any link within the email message.

For more information about phishing scams, the Federal Trade Commission website has a resources page and a page with tips for consumers

Thank you for your attention to this important matter.

Sincerely,
Randall B. Grove
Executive Director
