A brief review of periodontal disease, Peri-Implantitis, and Case Selection Considerations, plus a discussion of traditional treatments and typical results for failing implants.

About the Speaker

Alan Dalessandro, DDS, was born and raised in the Chicago area. He received his DDS degree from Loyola University School of Dentistry in 1979; did a residency at Rush Presbyterian, St Luke's Hospital in General Practice and Anesthesia; and went on to get his periodontal fellowship at the University of Illinois, College of Dentistry.

Dr. Dalessandro has been in private practice since 1979 and at his present location in Hoffman Estates since 1981. This has given him the opportunity to establish an excellent rapport with the community and general dentists in the Chicagoland area.

He also has a passion for teaching others. For more than 20 years, Dr. Dalessandro has lectured on multiple topics, which include practice management and leadership, advanced periodontal procedures, and CT imaging and virtualization. Presently, he teaches laser surgical procedures throughout the United States and the world.
