The Chicago Dental Society (CDS) ceased selling member or Midwinter Meeting (MWM) attendee lists as of January 2018. Warning: Exhibitors for the Midwinter Meeting should be vigilant in dealing with any company offering to “sell” any lists of CDS members or MWM attendees. Any organization or company attempting to sell these lists are NOT supported or endorsed by the CDS.
Exhibitors should be vigilant in dealing with the Exhibitor’s FAIR Guide produced by Construct Data Verlag or Expo-Guide.com produced by Commercial Online Manuals. Both the FAIR Guide and Expo-Guide.com are not endorsed or supported by the Chicago Dental Society (CDS).
The FAIR Guide is a database prepared by Construct Data Verlag which uses a form which resembles a meeting organizer’s free directory listing service and invites exhibitors to sign and return the form for entry into an online directory. At the top of the form is the printed name of CDS MWM in bold letters to create the misimpression of endorsement or support by CDS.
The Expo-Guide.com is a database prepared by Commercial Online Manuals which also uses a form which resembles an organizer’s free directory listing service and invites exhibitors to sign and return the form for entry into an online directory. At the top of the form is the printed name of CDS MWM in bold letters to create the misimpression of endorsement or support.
These forms, in small letters, include a substantial cost to create or update your entry, per year, for a period of three years. Exhibitors who sign and return these forms have entered into a three-year non-cancelable agreement.
CDS strongly urges you to thoroughly review any information that you receive from the Exhibitors FAIR Guide or Expo-Guide.com before signing any agreement and to remember that these organizations are NOT supported or endorsed by the CDS.
