The effects of the COVID-19 pandemic have cut across all of society—but have been uniquely experienced by those providing oral healthcare. As healthcare practitioners we are also small business owners and “leaders” in our own offices and potentially within the healthcare community. This presentation will briefly survey where we are as dental office practitioners and share leadership principles to help now and in the future.

Katie Graber, DDS, MS, is an orthodontist and in practice with her father, Lee Graber in the north suburbs. She received her dental degree from the University of Michigan and her Masters in Oral Sciences from the University of Illinois.

Lee Graber, DDS, MS, MS, PhD, is an orthodontist as well. He received his dental degree from the University of Michigan, his orthodontic residency at Northwestern and also holds a MS in anatomy and PhD in human growth and development from the University of Michigan.
