SUMMARY:West Side January '26 Branch Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Join us on Tuesday\, January 13\, at The Nineteenth Century Charitable Association\, located at 178 Forest Ave in Oak Park. \nSPEAKER UPDATE! Dr. Matthew S. Hamedani will present “All-on-4 Full-Arch Implant Rehabilitation: Principles\, Planning\, and Clinical Outcomes.”. This lecture offers 1.5 CE hours. Cocktails begin at 6:30 p.m. followed by dinner and the program at 7 p.m. \nPlease RSVP by Tuesday\, January 6. \nSpeaker Bio: Dr. Matthew S. Hamedani\, DDS\, MS\, earned his degrees at the University of Illinois at Chicago and completed OMFS residency at the University of Miami Jackson Memorial Hospital. He is an ABOMS Diplomate and AAOMS/ACOMS Fellow\, serving at MacNeal Hospital\, Stroger Hospital\, and Loyola University Medical Center. In his free time\, he enjoys family\, movies\, and reading. \nProgram Description: This course provides a comprehensive overview of the All-on-4 treatment protocol for dental providers seeking to understand its biomechanical foundation\, clinical workflow\, and evidence-based outcomes. Participants will review the rationale for using two axial anterior implants and two tilted posterior implants to maximize support\, minimize cantilever length\, and enhance full-arch stability. Ideal patient selection criteria will be discussed\, including esthetic\, functional\, and anatomical considerations. The lecture will outline the interdisciplinary treatment process from diagnosis and virtual planning through surgical placement\, immediate provisionalization\, and definitive prosthetic delivery. \nLearning Objectives: \n\n\nDefine the All‑on‑4 concept – explain the biomechanical rationale for using two axial anterior implants and two tilted posterior implants to maximize support while minimizing cantilever length. \n\n\nIdentify ideal candidate criteria – assess esthetic\, functional\, and anatomical factors that qualify a patient for All‑on‑4 treatment. \n\n\nOutline the interdisciplinary treatment workflow – from initial team meeting and diagnostic work‑up through surgical placement\, provisionalization\, and definitive prosthetic delivery. \n\n\nDescribe surgical and prosthetic principles – discuss virtual planning\, use of angled multi‑unit abutments\, optimal number of teeth\, occlusal scheme\, cantilever limits\, and material selection for long‑term success. \n\n\nCE Hours: 1.5
