DESCRIPTION:Join us on Tuesday\, January 13\, at RPM Events\, located at 317 N Clark St\, Chicago\, IL. \nKen Kromash\, DDS\, and Joanne Oppenheim\, DDS\, will present Sedation of patients providing a framework for determining if this is the right path for treatment for your patients.. Cocktails begin at 6 p.m. followed by dinner and program at 7 p.m. \nRSVP Today \nSpeaker Bio: Ken Kromash\, DDS\, is a dentist-anesthesiologist based in Chicago. He is the Program Director for the Dental Anesthesiology Residency at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center\, and he is also the head of the Section of Pain and Anxiety Control in the Department of Dentistry. He obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) in 1989 at Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine. He completed a General Practice Residency at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Reading\, PA\, followed by a two-year Anesthesia Residency at Illinois Masonic Medical Center. He currently practices at Great Chicago Smiles. He has extensive experience in providing anesthesia for patients\, including those with special needs\, medical complexities\, and pediatric patients. \nSpeaker Bio: Joanne Oppenheim\, DDS\, received her Bachelor of Science degree and competed for four years on the women’s gymnastics team from Southern Illinois University in 1985. She obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) in 1989 at the University of Illinois College of Dentistry. After dental school\, Dr. Oppenheim completed a one-year General Practice Residency at the Illinois Masonic Medical Center\, with a special focus on medically compromised patients and those suffering from trauma. In 1992\, she returned to the University of Illinois College of Dentistry Department of Pediatric Dentistry\, completing a two-year Residency in Pediatric Dentistry. In 1994\, Dr. Oppenheim received her Specialty License in Pediatric Dentistry from the University of Illinois at Chicago and is a Diplomate with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. In addition to seeing children in private practice\, Dr. Oppenheim is head of the department of pediatric dentistry at Illinois Masonic Medical Center. This is where she teaches general dental residents how to take care of children’s teeth\, as well as treating patients in the operating room under general anesthesia. \nProgram Description:\nSedation of patients providing a framework for determining if this is the right path for treatment for your patients. \nCE Hours: 1.5
