DESCRIPTION:Join the West Side Branch at The Nineteenth Century Charitable Association in Oak Park on November 10\, 2026 for the lecture “Recognizing pediatric airway and development” presented by Scott Smoron\, DDS\, MDS. \nCourse Description: As dentists\, we deal with more than simply teeth and gums. In evaluating the oral cavity\, we often encounter patients with airway issues and associated dental sequelae. In this course\, orthodontist Scott Smoron will share how to evaluate the airway for young children and how we\, as dentists\, can assist in managing these issues. He will also discuss orthodontic options for adults for the management of airway issues. \nSpeaker Bio:Scott Smoron is an orthodontist at Smoron Smiles\, a practice in Mount Prospect founded by his father. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Northwestern University. He completed his orthodontics residency and obtained his Master of Science in Dentistry at Saint Louis University. He desires to be a perpetual student to provide his patients with the most advanced levels of care. \nLearning Objectives:\n1. Learn how to screen pediatric and adult patients for airway issues\n2.
