She earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from The Baltimore College of Dental Surgery in 1998\, where she was inducted into the prestigious Gorgas Odontological Honorary Society. She went on to complete her specialty training in Orthodontics and Maxillofacial Orthopedics at Howard University. \nIn 2020\, Dr. Smith founded Smile Suite Orthodontics\, a boutique practice in Evanston\, Illinois\, where she blends artistry\, science\, and innovation to deliver elevated orthodontic care. Through her use of the Pitts21 system and progressive treatment philosophies\, she creates efficient\, comfortable\, and highly esthetic smile transformations. Her patient-centered approach focuses not only on achieving exceptional clinical outcomes\, but also on building authentic\, lasting relationships within her community.
