This emphasizes the importance of early detection and prevention.\nIdentify and Assess Risk Factors for Peri-Implantitis: Evaluate key risk factors such as a history of periodontitis\, lifestyle behaviors (e.g.\, smoking\, inadequate sleep)\, implant location\, and prosthetic design elements\, as established by longitudinal cohort studies.\nApply Evidence-Based Prevention Strategies in Clinical Practice: Integrate knowledge of modifiable and non-modifiable risk factors into patient care by addressing behavioral risks and customizing preventive protocols for high-risk individuals.\nCritically Review Current Treatment Limitations and Encourage Informed Consent: Acknowledge the lack of a gold-standard treatment for peri-implantitis and incorporate this uncertainty into patient education and informed consent discussions\, while striving to implement best available practices.\n\nCE Hours: 2
