CDS Special Events Tickets and Information
During the year, the Chicago Dental Society provides
for members only, the opportunity to obtain tickets to various special events.
Tickets to Chicago theatre productions, the annual CDS Family Picnic, and Cubs
and Sox baseball games among others are available. Take advantage of your
membership in the Chicago Dental Society by participating in these exclusive
member special events.
| Cirque Du Soleil - KOOZA |
Though their art form might be difficult to describe, Cirque du Soleil will return to the United Center this summer with a new show. KOOZA is a return to the origins of Cirque du Soleil, combining two circus traditions - acrobatic performance and the art of clowning. The show highlights the physical demands of human performance in all its splendor and fragility, presented in a colorful melange that emphasizes bold slapstick humor.
KOOZA tells the story of The Innocent, a melancholy loner in search of his place in the world. The Innocent's journey brings him into contact with a panoply of comic characters such as the King, the Trickster, the Pickpocket, and the Obnoxious Tourist and his Bad Dog.
Between strength and fragility, laughter and smiles, turmoil and harmony, KOOZA explores themes of fear, identity, recognition and power. The show is set in an electrifying and exotic visual world full of surprises, thrills, chills, audacity and total involvement.
All seats are in section 202 under the Grand Chapiteau in Parking Lot K at the United Center.

| 2008 Family Picnic at Brookfield Zoo |
Celebrate summer with family and friends at the annual CDS Family Picnic. We'll return to the Brookfield Zoo this year, RAIN OR SHINE.
CDS members may reserve a maximum of four free ticket packages for entry to the zoo and the picnic grove. Additional ticket packages may be purchased at the group rate.
Parking is included in ticket prices.
Zoo hours: 9:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Picnic at the Oak Grove: 3-5 p.m.
Tickets may be picked up at Will Call only.
CDS members must enter through the North Gate.

| Dirty Dancing |
Dirty Dancing - an instant hit when it was on the Big Screen 20 years ago - is now on stage! Dirty Dancing is the coming of age love story of headstrong dancer Johnny Castle and Frances "Baby" Houseman during her family's summer vacation at Kellerman's Resort. Baby, a doctor's daughter with dreams of joining the Peace Corps, meets Johnny, a resort employee from the wrong side of the tracks, and falls in love. The original story has been expanded for the stage, further developing their relationship through music and dance.
