Registration Information

 

Where are my registration materials?

All badges/tickets and/or refund checks will be mailed to the individual whose name appears at the top of the check or on the credit card that is used to pay for the registration (referred to as “payer”). Registration materials will be mailed to the address on the registration form.

If you have not received your pre-registration materials by mail within 30 days of pre-registering, please call 888.696.2446 or e-mail cdscustomerservice@attregistration.com.

If you arrive at the Midwinter Meeting without your badge, you can obtain a replacement badge at the Reprints booth for a fee in the General Registration area, Level 3, Concourse. Please allow time to wait in line before your course begins.

General Registration: McCormick Place West, Level 3 Concourse

  • Thursday-Saturday, Feb. 25-27, 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m.

Exhibitor Registration On-Site: McCormick Place West, Level 3 Concourse

  • Wednesday, Feb. 24, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
  • Thursday-Saturday, Feb. 25-27, 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m.

Dentist registration

Under no circumstances may a dentist register as a guest, spouse, exhibitor, dental assistant, dental hygienist, dental techni­cian, office personnel, family member or dental trade. Registration will be revoked for dentists who register in any category other than dentist, and the dentist will be charged the appropri­ate registration fee or asked to leave the meeting. Spouses who are dentists are considered dentists and therefore are expected to register as dentists. This is particularly true if you are seeking CE credits from CDS or the Academy of General Dentistry.

ISDS Hygiene and ISDS Lab Tech members will not pay a registration fee if they pre-register by Nov. 30. After that date, you will be charged a fee. For our fee schedule, please click here.

Domestic/International Dental Trade registration

Domestic/International Dental Trade may register at McCormick Place West, Thursday-Saturday, Feb. 25-27, during normal registration hours.

Domestic and International registrants who pre-register before the mail/fax deadline of Jan. 18, or the online deadline of Jan. 31, will receive materials by mail. If you pre-register online you will receive an e-mail confirmation within 24 hours.

Special Events and Tours

Please pre-register for all MWM Special Events and Tours through the registration company (Internet/mail/fax).

MWM Special Event tickets are distributed three ways:

  • Opening Session and the Friday Night Entertainment function will be included with your registration materials.
  • The vouchers for the Fashion Show and Dinner Dance will be mailed from the CDS Central Office.
  • Tour tickets are distributed by a third party contractor, CHICAGO IS...INC., which will coordinate tour tickets as well as communicate with you via e-mail.

Reminders

Free admittance to the Midwinter Meeting is a member benefit available to those CDS dentists who have paid their dues in full on or before Jan. 1. Those who have not paid their dues in full may be required to pay the appropriate registration fee. The registration company receives lists of current members from CDS frequently throughout the pre-registration season to be sure all current CDS members can take advantage of this benefit.

Do not include your CDS dues payment with your registration. An outside contractor handles pre-registration. Enclosing your dues payment with your pre-registration materials will delay the processing of both your dues and your registration.

CDS dues can be paid online. Look for the links on our home page. Please note that it will take up to one week to process your membership before you can pre-register as Category A (CDS Dentist).

You cannot join the ADA through CDS while pre-registering. Pre-register as a non-ADA member and contact your state dental society to join the ADA. If you do join the ADA for 2010 prior to April 1, CDS will refund the difference of the non-ADA registration fee.
