Register in advance to receive "F" Course ticket

Avoid free course ticket lines at the course room entrance and save time.

When you register for the meeting, order tickets for F (Free) Courses to reserve your place and be seated first if you arrive by the start of the class. Register early to save money on the cost of registration.

Over 2,500 people attempt to register on site between 7:30 a.m. and 12 p.m. each of the first two days of the meeting. Every effort is made to accommodate these attendees, however, long lines are inevitable. CDS urges attendees to register early, preferably online, to avoid the long lines.

Hygiene and dental assistant students: Your badges will not be mailed!

Hygiene and dental assistant students are eligible to pre-register for the Midwinter Meeting, however, badges and paid course / event tickets can only be picked up onsite at the E-ticket counters. School IDs are required to obtain badges / tickets. Hygiene students and dental assistant students are not allowed to register online for free “F” courses; however, they may attend F courses if seating is available in the room the day of the course.

To find out if seating is available for a free course, go to the room in which the course is offered the day the course is presented.

Online Additions

Online registration will allow additions after the original order has been placed. Mail and faxed registrations can be amended as well. Courses can be added online. To change or cancel your enrollment in a course, the original ticket(s) must be returned to the registration company to receive a refund.

Dentist Registration

Under no circumstances may a dentist register as a guest, spouse, exhibitor, dental assistant, dental hygienist, dental technician, office personnel, student, family member or dental trade. Registration will be revoked for dentists who register in any category other than dentist, and the dentist will be charged the appropriate registration fee or asked to leave the meeting. Spouses who are dentists are considered dentists and therefore are expected to register as dentists. This is particularly true if you are seeking CE credits from CDS or the Academy of General Dentistry. Dentists registering as media, must be registered as dentists first.

Free admittance to the Midwinter Meeting is a member benefit available to those CDS dentists who have paid their dues in full (or are enrolled in the auto-due payment program) on or before Jan. 1 for the year of this Midwinter Meeting. Those who have not paid their dues in full may be required to pay the appropriate registration fee. The registration company receives lists of current members from CDS frequently throughout the registration season to be sure all current CDS members can take advantage of this benefit.

Do not include your CDS dues payment with your registration. An outside contractor handles registration. Enclosing your dues payment with your registration materials will delay the processing of both your dues and your registration.

Tripartite member CDS dues can be paid online

Associate member CDS dues can be paid online here. Please note that it may take up to one week to process your membership before you can pre-register as Category A (CDS Dentist).

You can not join the American Dental Association (ADA) through CDS while pre-registering. Register as a non-ADA member and contact your state dental society to join the ADA. If you do join the ADA for 2018 prior to April 1, CDS will refund the difference of the non-ADA registration fee.
