Here's your opportunity to volunteer and provide care
Illinois
dentists will have two opportunities to volunteer their skills and
talents and aid Illinoisans in need of oral healthcare. The first event
is the Illinois Mission of Mercy (MOM), followed by RAM
Chicago 2010.
MOM: June 11-12
Organized by the Illinois State
Dental Society and the Illinois State Dental Society Foundation, MOM will
take place Friday-Saturday, June 11-12, at the Interstate Center in downstate Bloomington.
Event
officials expect to treat 1,500 patients over two days. This event will
require help from more than 600 volunteer dentists, dental hygienists
and assistants, lab technicians and laypersons. Help is needed in the
areas of basic dental care and the specialty services of oral surgery,
restoratives, dental hygiene, pediatric care and laboratory services.

RAM Chicago 2010 event has been canceled
It is with deep regret due to unforeseen circumstances the RAM CHICAGO 2010 has been cancelled. I wish to thank the volunteers that have already signed up to help and hope to have more information at a later date.
