Board
Together with a staff of 17 employees, the Board of Directors oversees management of the society and guides efforts to promote organized dentistry, represent members and serve the public.
The Board of Directors comprises five elected officers and nine branch directors.
The five board officers--president, president-elect, secretary, vice president and treasurer--are elected by political party. Each officer serves on the board for five years, moving from treasurer to president over their tenure on the board. Each of the nine branches chooses a representative, the branch director, to serve a three-year term.
Terms for all board members follow the calendar year of January-December.
