Each year, Chicago Dental Society and its foundation donate nearly 100,000 toothbrushes to schools and community groups for children's dental health month. Most of these organizations serve the neediest children and families.
For 2013. we are on track to provide dental supplies to more than 500 schools and community groups, and our foundation is fundraising to provide additional supplies to the schools serving some of the poorest children in Chicago.
As the Chair of the Chicago Dental Society Foundation Board, I assure you that the foundation is committed to expanding its programs and mission of providing access to dental care and dental education.

2012 Chicago Dental Society Foundation Grants
The Chicago Dental Society Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the Chicago Dental Society, distributed more than $89,000 in grants to local agencies that address access to dental care in and around the Chicago area. Grants are limited to bona fide charitable 501(c)(3) organizations, educational groups, and organizations dedicated to improving the art and science of dentistry through public or private initiatives in Chicago and Illinois.
