The Chicago Dental Society Mentor Program is a cooperative project in conjunction with the UIC College of Dentistry and the UIC College of Dentistry Alumni Association, Midwestern University Dental School and numerous professional dental organizations, including the Lincoln Dental Society and the Hispanic Dental Association. It is intended to enhance the educational experience by providing another perspective — that of a practicing dentist who shares some of your interests.
Dental students gain real life experience while networking with colleagues. In a private office, dental students learn practice management and interpersonal skills not easily taught in a classroom.
